Internship Opportunities
SPCP welcomes interns from all majors and backgrounds but the applicant should have an interest in the environmental field.
An internship at SPCP is a challenging and rewarding educational experience geared toward undergraduate or graduate students interested in pursuing a career in public health, environmental health, public policy, environmental policy, natural sciences, non-profit development and administration among many others.
Through close interaction with SPCP experienced staff members, interns gain valuable skills in their field of interest.
Responsibilities
Productive projects targeting the intern's interest are assigned. In addition to these specific tasks, interns also contribute to the overall work of SPCP. Interns and supervisors work together to determine an appropriate schedule. Generally interns commit to working 8-12 weeks during the summer months and during the school year time commitments usually mirror the student's class schedules.
How to Apply
SPCP welcomes internship applications on an on-going basis. Applications for summer internships are generally considered between February and May. Internships may be available at other times of the year depending on organizational needs. Summer internships are usually paid internships.
